We fix the broken thing in your kitchen today, not next Tuesday.

I started this in 2010 — solo, out of my garage off Devonshire — and called it Chatsworth Appliance Repair. Fourteen years of saying yes to people in Northridge, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Simi turned us into a small crew of techs I trained myself. Same garage, more trucks, same flat-rate quote before anyone touches a screwdriver.

What I fix — and what I won't.

If it's not on this list, I'll tell you straight up and point you to someone who handles it. No bait and switch.

Why bother calling me

instead of the big guys with the search ads

1

Owner-trained crew, no subs.

I built this team and trained every tech on it personally. No subcontractors, no national-chain commissions, no "I'll have my booking center call you back." You answer to me by name; they answer to me by name.

2

No diagnostic fee, ever.

If we look at it and can't fix it, you owe nothing. If we can fix it, the labor is a flat rate we quote you before any tools come out of the bag.

Parts on the truck.

Fourteen years working the same brands means we know what breaks. Every truck rolls loaded with the common parts so most jobs are one visit — not the usual "I'll order the part and come back next week."

The owner

I'm Mark. I trained every tech who drives one of these trucks.

I've been pulling appliances apart since I was seventeen, weekends at my uncle's shop off Sepulveda. Started this company in 2010 out of the garage on Devonshire because I was tired of watching techs quote repairs without ever opening the unit.

Fourteen years in, there's a small crew driving vans out of the same garage. I hired each of them, I trained each of them, and I still do a call or two a day myself — mostly to keep my hands sharp, partly because I can't help it.

Notes from neighbors

five-star Google reviews, but stripped of the fake ones

Mark called me back inside ten minutes. Drove over the same afternoon, pulled my dishwasher out, found a sock — yes, a sock — wedged in the drain. Charged me thirty bucks and refused to take more. Who does that?

Sub-Zero compressor was clicking. Two other guys quoted me $1,400 sight unseen. Mark spent forty minutes diagnosing it, told me honestly it was a $35 relay, swapped it, and the fridge has been quiet ever since. That’s two years ago now and still going.
Andre P. Twin Lakes · January 2026
I’d never used him before. He showed up when he said he would, took his shoes off without me asking, fixed the dryer in twenty minutes, and explained exactly what he did. Felt like having my brother-in-law come over, except my brother-in-law wouldn’t have known what to do.

The whole Valley — and over the hill to Simi

Home base is still Chatsworth. The trucks roll east to Burbank and Glendale, west to Calabasas and Hidden Hills, south through Encino and Sherman Oaks, and up the 118 to Simi Valley and Moorpark. If you can see the same mountains I can, you're in range.
